Attorney Craig A. Gibbs
Craig A. Gibbs is a shareholder in the Law Office of Craig Gibbs. He received his J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1976. From 1969 to 1973, Mr. Gibbs attended Case Western Reserve University and the University of Lancaster in Lancaster, England, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree and a standing on the Dean’s List. Currently, he concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury and workers’ compensation.
Craig Gibbs was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1987 and has been appointed to many bar committees, including service on the Trial Lawyers Executive Counsel, the Member Benefit Committee, and the Workers’ Compensation Rules Committee. He was most recently appointed to serve on the Bar Rules of Judicial Administration Committee. He has been a member of the D.W. Perkins Bar Association since 1987, serving as president in 1997-1998. Mr. Gibbs is also a member of the Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter of the National Bar Association, where he served as Vice President in 1998-1999 and President in 2000-2001. Attorney Gibbs also serves on the board of the Florida Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company. He is a also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Jacksonville Bar Association and the American Bar Association, and he is a life member of the National Bar Association.
Attorney Craig A. Gibbs portrayed Justice Leander Shaw of the Florida Supreme Court in the HBO movie "Recount," which was shot in Jacksonville and Tallahassee.
Attorney Kenneth A. Jenkins
Kenneth Jenkins is an attorney with the Law Office of Craig Gibbs. He graduated from The College of New Jersey with a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice, a minor degree in English and a minor degree in African Studies in 1993. In 1996, he began his career in the insurance industry as a Claim Representative and Claim Specialist for several of the nation's largest insurance companies. For over ten years in the insurance industry, Kenneth has handled thousands of personal injury claims and has gained tremendous knowledge and experience in handling personal injury claims. During this time, he has held an Agents License and an Adjuster's License and has earned and currently holds nine Insurance Industry Designations, including the Associate In Claims (AIC), the Automobile Claim Law Associate (ACLA) and the Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA).
In 2007, Kenneth received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville . As a student, Kenneth had the honor and privilege to serve as President of the Black Law Students Association for two years. He was also a member of the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial team competing in Raleigh-Durham, NC that placed in the top eight teams from a field of twenty-seven teams. This was the first team from Florida Coastal School of Law to advance to the quarterfinals in this annual competition. He has also served on several committees and panels, performed community service, speaking engagements to high school students interested in the legal profession and assists in Minority Recruitment efforts for Florida Coastal School of Law.
Kenneth, as an attorney is an active participant in Florida's efforts to protect the rights of all citizens to vote and he currently serves as a Board Member of the Parent Faculty Association of the Oakleaf School in Orange Park, FL
